I am currently in Germany now, and yes, finally. I found it very funny when she told me the story, buut maybe other people enjoy being in the crowd like that:). #Buku bahasa jerman sma fullA friend of me from the Vorkurs, Jana, went to one of this party once and she said she will never go there again, it was reaaally full of people, it was in the basement of a dorm and it was so loud. It was a relaxed evening and I enjoyed it. Maybe I will try to join one one day and tell you guys my experience, just see ) Not only parties, they also have some several events going on, or just like hanging around in a restaurant together, that was what I did one time with the people from the mathematic course. I've never joined one of the party until now, becauuuse most of them starts from 11 pm, which I am not very used to. It's just one week after I go to this preparation class and there were already so many parties going on. I couldn't agree more with this statement. You might also have heard that Germans like to party. From there, I usually sit with her in the class. Well, not like the usual type of Germans you usually hear. She was really nice and so easy going and so friendly to me. But while waiting for the bus outside, a girl from Aachen approached me and asked me how did I do my test. So in the first meeting, I actually didn't get to know the people there. In the first day, we got a small test, just some small exercises and after that, we went home. I might not be very good at like making friends easily, moreover when I don't even know what to say aand even more with another language, ohh how my mind couldn't handle that. Days after that, slowly but surely, I tried to get myself together, try to catch up with the stuffs, refresh my memories and tried to answer the questions, so that people can hear my voice too and see that I am actually in the class too, that was all I wanted to do, nothing more. That was what I felt in the first two days. But it was also hard to show myself, it felt like I was in the corner of the room, although I was not. I don't wanna be like that, I want to participate, to get along with other people, to also show that I am in that class, I am there, alive, a human, also studying there in Aachen. Before this, I heard that these Asian or might be, Indonesian students, have this prototype that they are very reserved, that they are very passive in the class. I am not trying to blame myself or other people, but it was just how I felt. The people made friends so easily there, they can speak to each other easily because they understand each other well, but it was kinda hard for me. It felt like my mind was being tricked, I felt like I was in a class, with another whole different language again. I found it kinda diffficult in the beginning, a bit stressed? I am not so used to hear people arguing in German that fast and it was kinda hard to catch up with them, even though I have learned most of the stuffs in the college. I was in a class with around 20 people, but I was the only Asian in the class. My first impression was that I was kinda. What I found good from this is that you will meet people from the same course as you in the exercise class and that way, you can get along with them and get to know them a bit more. So, everyday for 4 weeks, I will have lectures everyday from Monday until Friday.Įvery single day, I will have a lecture in the morning starting from 9.15 and then doing the exercise in a smaller group that was divided depends on your course, after that I'll have a break, then another lecture and finally, another exercise. I take the mathematics preparation class. I found many people joining this preparation class for this reason: that they took a break after school for one year (for many different reasons) and that means, it has been quite a long time since they have learned something, so they take this class to refresh all of the stuffs they have learned. In my university, the class is held for 4 weeks, a long time right? Buut, not every universities have this preparation class and if they do, the duration might be various depending on your own uni. Second, I also want to learn and see how it's like. I personally joined this Vorkurs because at first, I wanna go earlier to Germany. The purpose is to refresh your brain, what you have learned in school or so you can imagine how probably your life as a student would be. This preparation class is held by the university itself and it is held for some subjects, like Mathematics, Computer Science, Chemistry and maybe some other subjects. #Buku bahasa jerman sma pdf
